Lady Gaga is an evil genius
For those who dont know I am slightly in love with entertainment. Movies, music, tv, celebrities, you name it I know it. My celebrity knowledge surprises people. Its sad I know, but hey its my special gift.
Lady Gaga...you know her, you either love her or hate her. I love her. I love that she likes to make people slightly uncomfortable. Her music is catchy, some songs get annoying pretty quick, but hey they are good work out music. She is an evil genius. People don't seem to like her crazy outfits, but how many paparazzi photos do you see of her? Exactly...rarely! cause no one knows what she looks like under those crazy outfits! She can live her life without the paparazzi bugging her all the time. Genius I tell you.
She knows how to use the media and good for her!

I am Back!
Hey all,
I know, I suck at this whole blog thing sometimes! But I am back and promise to keep up with this.
In the past month and a half I have been busy with work and church classes.
Here are some other things going on:
1. My mom gave us all a scare one night. She was having chest pains and almost passed out at work so she went to the ER and they found a small blockage and got her squared away. She is much better now. Having a parent in the ER is scary, but for me its like life shaking. My dad passed away from heart issues when I was 14 and my mom had a heart attack and a triple by-pass about 5 years ago. So needless to say loosing my mom or stepdad is a crippling fear of mine.
2. I have been taking into to Orthodoxy classes at church. My fiance is an Orthodox Christian and I am being baptized before our wedding. I can't really say I am converting because I was never baptized or went to church before meeting him.
3. WEDDING! we have been finalizing lots of plans for the wedding. Our wedding isn't until October, but my fiance is very budget conscious and likes his excel sheets. Only thing left is stuff we cannot do until closer to the day like invitations, seating charts, etc.
I will be blogging more I promise!

What famous person who would you like to meet?
In college I interned at a local radio station and had a lot of fun and got to meet a handful of celebrities the 6 months I was there, mostly people from American Idol and Nick Lachey!Anyway...I like to think of my top favorite celebrities I would like to meet/interview and what I would pick their brain. Don't ask why because well I do not have an answer for you. Here is my list.
1. Quentin Tarrentino - again, I was a film minor in college. I LOVE movies, especially his! To work with him on a film would be my dream. His films are in your face, funny, and always a nod to something and someone who helped make film what it is now.
2. Leonardo DiCaprio - again its all about movies with me. He is an AMAZING actor and ever since he little wild days of his 20's he now only chooses to do amazing movies. How does he chooses the films he does?
3. Tom Hanks - see a pattern here? his film career is astounding! is there a character he hasnt played?
4. Dr. Drew Pinksey - yes, from Love Line and Celebrity Rehab. People laugh and my fiance rolls his eyes at me when I say I like him and would love to meet him. Who didnt listen or watched Love Line. Yes, his newer show, Celebrity Rehab sounds stupid, but he is helping people. He understands that if you are a famous actor or musician you are usually very sensitive, have a crazy childhood, trauma and mental instability. They are drawn to drugs and alcohol because of their mental stability and not necessarily because they are famous and spoiled. He is a hard ass on these "celebrities" and actually helps a lot of people. So back off Dr. Drew because he is awesome :)
5. Now if I could choose someone who has passed I would choose Judy Garland. Man, that voice! She reminds me of my grandma :) They sounded similar when singing. No one sings like that anymore. She was beautiful and talented but also haunted by her craft. I would just want to sit and chat for hours!

snow-poclypse
I most likely spelled the title wrong but in this mood I really dont care. I have not posted much in the past couple days because well I have been out of town, enjoying some down time with my soon to be in-laws and my fiance's family and friends. Everything has been great until mother nature decided to turn Atlanta into an ice skating rink. I am now stuck in Pennslyvania and not sure excatly when I can get home :(
I am bad about getting home sick and man it has kicked in. Luckily we flew with the pups, so they are with us and a great friend turned out heat up a bit and dripped a facuet for us so our pipes dont freeze. And I am kind of bummed I didnt get to enjoy the real Ga snow, but we did have some fun time in the snow here is Pa.
This journey of waiting for a possible plane to take us home has been crazy. Our orignal flight out was today (Monday) at about 7 am, but we heard about the end of the world Atlanta snow storm, so we changed it for Sunday night. Well that was cancelled almost right after we booked it. We were rebooked for tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday). We are still unsure if we can even make it home on that flight. AND if we do make it to Atlanta, I am sure my car is a giant car popsicle at the airport. Plus we live on a hill that ices pretty quickly...
So, we shall see if I am still home sick tomorrow or hopefully back home.
